The national notification centre also examines and, if necessary, collects and processes monitoring data on meteorological, hydrological, seismological, radiological, ecological, health, traffic, transport and other conditions obtained through monitoring networks and systems (water monitoring system Monitoring voda, and surveillance systems Video Kras and Vispro), as well as data obtained from the responsible authorities and services, and messages of authorities and services performing the monitoring.

The Notification Centre of the Republic of Slovenia notifies the responsible national and other authorities, including inspection services, on the risks of natural and other disasters and other phenomena and events relevant to the protection against those emergencies, in accordance with national disaster response plans. It prepares and disseminates daily and special information bulletins on natural and other disasters, which contain current warnings. Information about daily events and warnings is published on the ACPDR website and Teledex of the RTV Slovenia public broadcaster.
